## Current Mandatory Anchors

- [Three.js Conf Paris 2026](https://threejs.paris/) is the reason for Paris: September 10-11, 2026 at Maison de la Chimie, 28 Rue Saint-Dominique, 75007 Paris.
- Paris should remain at least one week around Three.js.
- Copenhagen now starts August 1 and gets 12 nights so arrival, jet lag, first routines, dating/social setup, Fashion Week, Pride opening and open-stage outreach are protected.
- Gothenburg, Oslo and Stockholm are currently compact five-night passes because August 1 plus Venice Aug 28 leaves only 15 Nordic nights after Copenhagen.
- [Biennale Arte 2026 visitor information](https://www.labiennale.org/en/art/2026/information) confirms Biennale Arte 2026 runs May 9-November 22, 2026 at Giardini / Arsenale / Forte Marghera. Summer hours include Friday/Saturday Arsenale late hours.
- Venice currently uses the August 28-30, 2026 weekend.
- Geneva is mandatory. The current preferred route uses five nights after pulling two nights into Copenhagen.
- Greece is mandatory, but should be island/beach/wellness oriented rather than Athens by default.
- Northern Africa is mandatory as a region. Current working version is Marrakech / Atlas only for the final 9 nights, with no separate North Africa Coast stop.
- Austin return must be no later than October 28, 2026. The current preferred route does not allocate a separate return-buffer stop; the flight home is built into the final Marrakech / Atlas stay.

## Current App Route

- Single working route: Copenhagen Aug 1-13, Gothenburg Aug 13-18, Oslo Aug 18-23, Stockholm Aug 23-28, Venice Aug 28-Sep 1, Amsterdam Sep 1-8, Paris Sep 8-15, Geneva Sep 15-20, Ionian bridge Sep 20-26, True Nature Ithaca Sep 26-Oct 3, Greek beach integration Oct 3-10, and Marrakech / Atlas Oct 10-19.

The August 1 start is now hard. The explicit tradeoff is shorter Gothenburg/Oslo/Stockholm, shorter Geneva, shorter Marrakech, and a focused Venice stop so Amsterdam can become a full week before Paris.

Sidi Kaouki, MOGA, ADE, London, Athens, Thessaloniki, and open mics are not hard requirements.

## City-Fit Notes Copied From The Scandinavia Thread

- Copenhagen: strongest overall Scandinavia fit for English, startups, cycling/walkability, live music, dating-app practicality, and social ease.
- Stockholm: strongest tech/design/startup signal, with ambitious and creative people, but socially more reserved.
- Oslo: high quality of life and outdoorsy, but a smaller dating/social experiment than Copenhagen or Stockholm.
- Gothenburg: friendly live-music sleeper city that makes the rail spine work.
- Amsterdam: required and useful for English-forward social life, art/performance, and rail access to Paris.
- Lisbon: strongest challenger if the trip later pivots from mandatory event routing to quality-of-life testing, but it is not currently hard.
